Jewnect is a growing community of young European Jews from over 20 different countries. Our goal is simple: connect European Jews aged 18-40 to strengthen Jewish identity and create a strong European Jewish community that provides young Jewish individuals with the opportunity to make friends and potentially find a partner. While being Jewish is already a challenge, the global Covid-19 pandemic amplified the difficultly for young Jews in Europe to connect as travel restrictions tightened, synagogues were closed, and in-person events were cancelled. Nonetheless, the general desire to interact socially with others and meet new people remained. In fact, more than ever have we understood that a global pandemic is a time to strengthen our communities and identities as well as support one another - Jewnect seeks to achieve precisely this.

Even before Covid-19, young Jews scattered across Europe showed an interest in dating and finding friends outside their geographical area. Jewnect hence continues to strive towards being a platform that facilitates these young European Jews to meet, providing them with a unique opportunity to meet in an organic way. Ultimately, we never know where our Beshert or new friends may be currently located!

The importance of community became clear throughout Covid-19 and showed us the beautiful virtual alternatives that can bring people from completely different countries together! We, as Jewnect, are already on a strong path to continue building meaningful connections! We are an accepting and diverse community focusing on helping members make new friends and find their Beshert in a relaxed, welcoming Jewish environment.
